I'm Yennifer!
I'm a designer, writer, solopreneur, advocate, and the occasional half-marathoner. Originally from Colombia, I'm inspired by other cultures, traveling, and seeing the world through diverse lenses. My journey through the healthcare system as both a patient and caregiver, coupled with personal experiences of loss, has shaped my passion for connecting people and helping them live and age better.
Professionally, I’ve worn many hats across public health, communications, and interior design. At the core of all my work is a human-centered approach, fueled by curiosity and creativity. Whether I’m designing an inclusive experience, crafting thoughtful written content, or developing high-quality solutions to complex problems, I’m a creative at heart. I believe in using design to empower people, bring them together, and help them thrive.
When a health diagnosis led me to seek support from women with similar lived experiences, I discovered the healing power of storytelling and community. This inspired me to create Her Own Words, a podcast dedicated to amplifying the stories of everyday women. I believe storytelling is a transformative tool for connection, healing, and change.
📬 I’m currently available for freelance work. If you’re looking for a collaborative partner who’s creative, empathetic, and passionate about making a positive impact, let’s connect!
